The Export Credit and Insurance Agency of the Republic of Serbia, j.s.c. - AOFI is a specialised financial organization which performs the following operations: financing and accounts receivable insurance for exporting companies.
Law
The Republic of Serbia founded the Agency by the Law on the Export Credit and Insurance Agency of the Republic of Serbia, j.s.c. for the purpose of both export promotion and progress and the development of economics relations with business entities abroad (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia no. 61 / 2005, issued: 15th, July, 2005).
Mission
The Agency's task is to impact jointly with all developmental, financial and other institutions, but also with private foreign companies and institutions when there is a common interest with the aim of strategic improvement of the conditions for business transactions of the exporting economy and the change of the export structure of the Republic of Serbia.
The mission is the export promotion of Serbian companies through financing and insurance of export projects and cooperation with similar institutions from the countires of the foreign trade partners in order to raise competitiveness of domestic economy and the aquisition of new markets.
The founders' share of the Agency is 25 mil. EUR.
