OSEE works for the credit insurance markets in South Eastern Europe.
Main task of OSEE is the creation of local credit insurance and credit assessment facilities for marketable risks under the standard of a professional private credit insurer.
Subsidiary of OeKB
OSEE was founded in 2002 by OeKB and Euler Hermes Kreditversicherungs-AG, Hamburg. In 2005, OeKB took over Euler Hermes' 80% share. OSEE is a 100% subsidiary of OeKB EH Beteiligungs- und Mananagement AG.

OeKB is Austria's main financial and information services provider for the exporter industry and the capital market. The specialized institution was established in 1946. Its shareholders are domestic commercial banks.

The means for OeKB's Export Financing Scheme are generated through the issuing of bonds rated AAA/aaa by Standard & Poor's and Moody's.
